Discover the latest SimplySub update with new job management features, GPS tracking, enhanced safety talks, and improved integrations for subcontractors.

This release adds major new capabilities for managing job finances, connecting third-party tools, and tracking vehicles and equipment. You will also see a larger free safety talk library, a few admin and labeling improvements, and a set of fixes and performance updates.

New

  • New Commerce module for estimates, invoicing, and payments. You can create estimates and invoices (including progress billing), record payments, and manage purchase orders to vendors, with job-level financials available directly on the job record.
  • Integrations Marketplace is now available. Browse supported integrations, search by keyword, and filter by category (like payroll and GPS), then enable and configure what you need from one place.
  • Real-time GPS tracking for vehicles and equipment. SimplySub now offers native GPS Tracking solutions. View job sites, vehicles, and equipment on a map in real time.
  • US Fleet Tracking support added. US Fleet Tracking is now a supported GPS provider option that works through the Integrations Marketplace setup flow.
  • One Step GPS support added: OneStepGPS is now a supported GPS provider option that works through the Integrations Marketplace setup flow.
  • Expanded safety talk library. The safety talk library has grown to nearly 250 talks across more than a dozen categories, with free sign-in sheets available for download. Access any of our safety talks

Improved

  • Default sales tax is easier to manage. Set your company’s default sales tax rate from the Administration area, and that value will be used for commerce invoicing.
  • Clearer labeling for the property search field. We updated the wording across record detail pages (vehicles, equipment, jobs, customers, contractors, and suppliers) to better match how the field works.
  • Longer session timeouts. We increased the amount of time you can stay signed in before the system requires you to log in again.
  • Performance improvements. Various updates to help the app feel faster and more responsive.

Fixed

  • Expense report results now display correctly. Resolved an issue where some expense reports only showed five records even when more were available.
  • Various bug fixes. A set of smaller fixes across the platform.
